Vancouver Whitecaps v Pumas UNAM - Concacaf Champions Cup quarterfinal action

Whitecaps top scorer Brian White gave the Canadian team the lead with a scrappy goal in the 71st minute. With time running out Pumas’s Adalberto Carrasquilla silenced the home fans by firing home an 87th minute equalizer. Emmanuel Sabbi nearly got the Whitecaps back in front but his downward header did not have enough power and was palmed onto the post by Pumas goalkeeper Alex Padilla.
