League1BC Women: Visiting Unity FC Dominates Burnaby FC 4-0

Unity FC put on a dominant display Saturday afternoon, taking a commanding 4-0 halftime lead in win over Burnaby FC at Burnaby Lake West Field 5. The scoring opened early in the 4th minute when a miscue led to an own goal by Burnaby’s goalkeeper, setting the tone for the match. 
 
Just minutes later Seina Kashima doubled the lead with a composed finish. Unity FC’s constant pressure brought an 18th minute third goal, with an Erin Stewart finish. The fourth goal came in the 42nd minute with Jenna Baxter slotting home before the halftime whistle.

The commanding lead allowed Unity FC to freely use their bench in the second half as many of the squad players got a run out
